Is using hair straightener/curler damaging to the hair?

I heard there's some sort of protector that can be applied to protect your hair from being damaged due to excessive use of these hair styler.

What shld we use to protect the hair? And what brand do you recommend? When shld we apply it, before or after using the straightener/curler?Is using hair straightener/curler damaging to the hair?
yes! straighteners/curlers can cause a lot of damage to hair! They can make your hair all dried out, and possibly even fall out! So dont straighten/curl your hair more than 3 times a week. Also BEFORE you straighten it spray on some heat protected from tresseme. And make sure that you get all of the layers sprayed. And use a deep conditioner every-other week to prevent damage. Here is something I recommend for you. Apply it before you use straightener/curler. Don't use any of these tools everyday. Condition your hair every week or alternate weeks. To condition your hair you should apply condition on your hair and wrap with a towel for about 15 minutes then rinse and style as usual. Take care.
Yes they can be very damaging to the hair but doesnt mean you shouldnt do it just try to do it once a month or less, not everyday cause thats bad. Then you would be bald! But you can use any spray that protects your hair from high heat. Go to you local beauty supply store and ask the worker if they know what their best one is:)
