I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

I'd highly recommend a Chi, what do you see professionals using? And if your ditsy and drop it a lot its going to break! But so will a glass!

I've used many brands and after purchasing a Chi at a salon wouldn't go back to anything else.
