What is a REALY good hair straightener?

what kind do you have, how long does it take to straighten your hair with it (oh and is your hair long/short wavy/curly?)


I want a realy nice straightener and would be prepared to pay a higher price, theres just to many to choose from so i dont know where to start!What is a REALY good hair straightener?
I have a Sedu. It takes me about 45 minutes to staighten my thick, curly hair. It used to take me 3 hours. Sedu is deffinately worth it. Oh, and don't get CHI's or GHD's - they break easily.What is a REALY good hair straightener?
Get a CHI... they are WONDERFUL!! I swear!!
I love my straightener...I have a solia it's like a chi or ghd. It's a little cheaper then a chi and they don't break as often or easily. heats up pretty quickly. If you don't mind prices try folica.com they're prices are actually good and they provide hundreds of reviews for all their products. check it out you won't regret it.
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands





Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,





Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss





Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

I swear by my GHD, i have really long hair its got abit of a wave in it and i cant straighten my hair in about 2 mins. It also takes about 10seconds to get EXTREMELY hot so when im in a rush its perfect, im not sure how much they are now but when i bought mine it was about a year about and i think it was around $400.00
always use Shikakai Powder (Soap nut powder) %26amp; Chigare Powder.
