Are GHD hair straighteners okay to use on thin hair?

I have thin hair that is down to the top of my shoulder blades and it doesn't do anything. I have tried LOADS of hair straighteners and after about 15 minutes of being outside the sides of my hair will flick out and basically it looks like I haven't bothered to make an effort. Anyway, after years of hearing that GHD's are the straighteners to have i'm thinking of buying them. But i'm worried that the high temperature will burn my hair? Or can you turn the temp. down on them?

What do you think?

Thanks! Are GHD hair straighteners okay to use on thin hair?
I have thin hair and i use them and my hair stays straight!!

They only have one temperature setting but if you wanna be careful don't go over your hair a thousand times with them just one or twice is more than enough! Are GHD hair straighteners okay to use on thin hair?
I had the same problem as you, where my hair would flick when I went outside. I've been using my GHD for a few years now and it has done the trick. There is only one heat setting, so you should definitely use heat protecting product when straightening your hair. I use GHD thermal protectors and they work well. If you aren't too keen on buying a GHD straight up maybe test a GHD on your hair, if one of your friends owns one or something. But other than that they are really good and i'd recommend you buy it :)
Hello.

My friend had exaclly the same problem as you, but dont be worried.

She brought Toni%26amp;Guy heat protection spray from BOOTS.

She sprayed this on her hair efore using her GHD's.

I would also like to recommend, that when straightening, to glide the straightners down your hair quickly, and not leave them in one place to long because this will damage the hair.

Good Luck !
hi, i had the same problem with the GHDs cos you cant turn the temperature down on them, so i got another pair instead that had a temperature control.
Try using different products before you spend like 拢100 on GHD's

My hair is baby fine and i use Loreal Hot staight cream on towel dried hair. Blow dry, spray your ends with Aussie heat protect then staighten your hair in sections! x
i bought GHD's and went back to my old babyliss 230's coz the GHD's were rubbish ! ! ! complete waste of money these days you can get ones that are just as good for less money
dont use it ever ur hair will become dry and weak
