I'm growing my hair out long and I need some advice on using hair-straighteners?

Just so ya know i am a guy. Well since i have previously grown out my hair long before I already have a hair-straightner and its a really good one too.





Anyway I want to know what products I should use to protect my hair from the heat if i was to use a hair-straightner regualary.





Also I am considering wearing my hair in a pony-tail once it reaches past my shoulders. Do you think young guys look cool with pony-tails: aka Orlando Bloom (pirates of the carrabian)I'm growing my hair out long and I need some advice on using hair-straighteners?
Good hair products are GHD spray or Tresseme. They both work well and dont damage your hair.


Its hard to know if a ponytail would suit you but it looked good on orlanda bloom and some people I know.


If you were also wondering what type of straightners save up for GHD men as they are good size for mens hair and work amazingly well !!!

I love guys with long hair and pretty much any heat protection spray will do the job as long as you use it every time. Personally, I found the Tresemme one made my hair greasy but it worked and I guess it depends on your hair type. I have used several different ones that all seemed to work fine - Tigi bedhead, toni and guy and nicky clarke.
Go and buy a heat protector spray. All major hair products brands make them - I try them all - and am still searching for one that I really like...





It depends on your whole person as to whether a ponytail would look good. Some men can carry off ponytails and some can't.





Try it, ask your most valued friends their opinion, if it doesn't suit you, then re-style - no harm done.

But pony tail, no no, Orlando Bloom is exception.
yes my boyfriend has longer hair than me and he wears his in a ponytail and its sexy, i do prefer it down though even more gets me all turned on lol its black and with a natural curl
i don't like pony tails on guys.. no not even on orlando bllom, he looked better when he had shorter hair. there is tones of heat defence sprays, best buy is tres semme, its a big bottle its only about 拢4 and it lasts for ages, most other brands are smaller, more expensive and just work the same.
Use Tresemme Heat Protection Spray


It works wonders! My hairdresser recommended it and it is affordable too :)


It depends what your face/style/personality is like as to whether you would suit a ponytail


Just try it out when its long enough and see what you and other people think to it :)
