Should i continue to use my hair straightener?

There is a chip in the corner on one of the ceramic straightners . It keeps filling up with weird white dust stuff but i just blow it out and continue to use it. Should i be doing this? Whats coming out? I have a cricket hair straightner

Sounds like there's nothing to worry about.

I'd carry on using them if i was you unless you really need some new ones then go for it.

But the white dust will just be the heat picking up chemicals you don't notice off your hair.

Thats usually why most hair straightners start to smell abit.

the best thing for you to do is get a new one. Since it is ceramic it is going to wear out, and if you use hairspray on top of that it will burn your hair if you keep on
Just suck it up and buy a new one. Its broken..

And if its ceramic then its just the ceramic wearing out.
Just buy onther one and maybe a different brand? One that'll last longer...
