I have the Hai Convertible Ceramic Flat Iron

It works wonders.

Reviews:

Hai Convertible Ceramic Flat Iron uses ceramic heating element technology and replaces old fashioned straightening and curling irons by giving you a variety of styling options with one unique tool. Featuring 1 ¼” wide by 3 ½” long ceramic, beveled edge plates, the HAI Convertible Ceramic Iron is designed to allow you to curl, wave, smooth, or flip your hair with far infrared heat. The HAI Classic Convertible works well on all hair types and is a great choice if you are looking to create curls in addition to straight styles.

I would recommend perhaps something like a Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline if you have short to medium length hair it works great with all textures of hair. If you really are set on a Chi Iron I would say go for something like a CHI Ceramic Turbo 1'; Flat Iron good for short to medium lengths, normal to coarse textures. Both are a really good choice. Don't forget to check out the GHD MK4 Ceramic too! Still a benchmark among hair Irons.
Pfft.

I use the Bedhead 1'; inch straightener. Its the thin blue one..It works pretty well for me. But I think its meant for shorter hair. But if you have long hair go for their other straightener...its wider and magenta.

They heat up pretty fast, and they aren't to much. But ya know, I would rather have a GHD..
Mines is called herstyler and i paid $150 for it at the mall...it's very good, heats very fast within 2-3 minutes and leaves the hair really straight and smooth and you can curl hair at the same time...
I like the GHD. It's expensive but very worth it.
