Besides time of course, something that ruins it like overnight.What will ruin a hair straightener?
Closing it when it is hot (like clamping it closed)
Getting the wires snagged in something (desk chair, tangled up and it broke while you tried to untangle it) Make sure it is unplugged when this ';accident'; happens. lol
Having it neatly stored underneath your dresser and your dresser's drawer falls and crushes it.
I once tried to straighen my Barbie's hair when I was little. The plastic got everywhere on it..but dangerous because it could start a little fire.What will ruin a hair straightener?
leaving it in water, turning it off when it still hot and wrapping the wires around it ( it could melt the wires).
Closing it when it is still hot will make the thing melt
