Will highlights and hair straightener damage my hair?

I have light brown hair i want a lighter color without expensive hairdresser i also use a hair straightenerWill highlights and hair straightener damage my hair?
It depends on your hair type. A lot of people can't damage their hair that much. Some people, like me, can straighten, dye, and damage their hair as much as they want and you would never be able to tell.

Any time you use chemicals on your hair, it will damage it a little bit, but if you are just getting highlights the damage will be minimal, but if you are really worried about it I would suggest looking for an organic highlight hair dye kit, or if you are going to a salon asking your hairstylist for an organic perm. That way you don't have to worry, it's a little more expensive but worth it cause your hair will stay healthy and nice.
Honey the sun can damage your hair......of course it will drains some of the protein out it wont necessarily hurt your hair .....it will cause damage but not like you think......nothing some conditioner will help......don't worry it wont hurt you . A secret for you though. I was a hairstylist for 8 yrs and our secret is cholesterol works great on this....you can go to a beauty supply store and purchase it or you can just pull it out of your fridge.....mayo yeah mayo may stink but put it on your hair cover with plastic for about an hour and rinse and shampoo out ....do this after you get your hair done....it puts the shine back in it....good luck
It will damage it a little bit, but not very much. I have light brown hair with highlights and I straighten it, and it's pretty much the same. It doesn't get greasy as easy though. But it all depends on the texture of your hair before you do it.
highlights wouldn't be too bad, unless you get them a lot.
