What is the best hair straightener?

ok i want to get a hair straightener. i have long thick hair but planning on cutting it on sunday shoulder-length.

what straightener works best? is bedhead good? my budget is $50-100What is the best hair straightener?
okay, so i'm sure everyone will answer this as CHI, CHI IS THE BEST. Personally I think a chi is a really good flat iron but for the price i think you could easily find something just as nice. At school we use babyliss 1320 addition i think. I use the babyliss Pro Nano at home because it's better quality and since it has rounded edges it can be used to curl, wave, and flip hair. I also have a flat iron from sallys beauty supply and i think it works really well too, it's called gvp (generic value product) and it's an imitation chi for half the price. it just depends on how much you want to spend.( http://www.sallybeauty.com/gvp-flat-iron…

The babyliss is titanium which is really good for your hair, and the gvp is make from ceramic which is also good for your hair but titanium is better. good luckWhat is the best hair straightener?
CHI all the wayyy! love them. if you buy one though, don't get the colored ones or the ';chi-tah.'; get a plain black one. for some reason, the regular oldschool black ones work the best. i've used the colored ones and the plates are different..they don't straighten my hair as good. just a regular black chi, between $112.00-130.00. last forever and straighten your hair soo good! not to mention they heat up in like 15 seconds!

paul mitchell's are pretty good too. they're my 2nd fave
Based on your budget, I would say CHI; however, for just $125, you can purchase the FHI

i would go with the tool science. you can buy it at sally's beauty supply it works great and your hair will definitely stay straight all day! trust me
tool science!!!!!!! :D its the best: it turns off by itself : gets up to 460+ degrees and it straightens really good (jus as good as chi but cheaper) :):):):)
Bed Heads are good but as everyone is sayiong Chi's are better. You will probably have to spend an extra $20 bucks but Walgreens has BedHead flat irons for 69 bucks
The In Styler!
SEDU!! it heats up in

25 seconds and

it straightens average hair

in 1 minute or 45 seconds
A ceramic hair-straightener.
I personally think Sedu is better than the Chi.
I hear the GVP one is good.
