Product Description
Chi Original 1'; Farouk CHI Ceramic Flat Iron Model GF-1001 The CHI can be considered
one of the most versatile Hairstyling Irons on the market today. The CHI's ergonomic
design allows the user to flip hair up or curl it under with a twist of the wrist.
The CHI is ideal for straightening and smoothing the hair while the ceramic plates seal
in natural moisture. It's great to use prior to a Dry Haircut. The ceramic coated paddles
help prevent scorching hair color and helps reduce styling product build-up. Featuring an
extra long swivel cord to prevent tangling, the CHI has a concealed on-off switch inside
the handle to prevent accidentally turning the unit off when in use. The heat paddles are
recessed from the edges to prevent skin burns. Will automatically heat up in less than 10
seconds. Temperature is preset at 150-180 degrees Celsius(302-356 degrees Fahrenheit)

a chi is really good and i like the little one. they al will fry your hair. make sure to use straightening shampoo/conditioner and a spray before you get down to business my fav is called straight sexy hair
yeah if you can afford it go to a salon and get it perman. done it can take several hours and the cheapest I've heard of it is 200 dollars. otherwise use Titanium Tools, flat irons, but they will still damage your hair
There's a flat iron called the CHI but it's really expensive[about $100+] and you can get it anywhere at the malls, hair salons, etc. It doesn't dry out your hair or ruin it- the ones that they sell in drugstores though can damage your hair.
You can always get your hair relaxed though, but i'm guessing that those only last you about afew months to a year. The CHI falt iron is a good investment, though.
Do you mean temporary straightening or permanent straightening?
If you just want your hair straight temporary, a ceramic iron is the way to go. If your hair gets snagged make sure the straightener doesn't have the comb thing attatched, it will only snag your hair more. They're pretty expensive, although I can't give you an exact number because mine was a gift. You should go to a beauty supply place like Sally Beauty to get one.
If you're looking for a more permanent solution you can do this thing called thermal reconditioning (aka japanese straightening). Basically it's the opposite of a perm, and it straightens your hair root to tip permanently. Your hair must grow out before it's normal again. DON'T do it if you like to wear your hair naturally. It's great if you absolutely hate the way your hair is naturally and don't want to have to deal with it in it's natural state. Be warned, it's pretty expensive, anywhere from $200-1000 depending on your hair thickness and type. You have to get it done about every 6 months or so.
A lot of people up there recommended the CHI, but trust me, it does not work well at all. It works amazing for a couple of months, but after that it's not too good. It's very small, so it will break easily. And it dries out your hair like crazy. It's definitely not worth the price.
I have the Remmington. It's brown and pink(the pink part is the part that touches your hair, it's made out of special gems that de-frizz your hair). I got mine from Target for $40. I've had it for almost 2 years, and it's still working perfectly fine. My hair isn't super curly, in fact, I just use it to, first of all, straighten my wavy hair, and also to take out the frizz.
Chi is the best, but it is a tad expensive. if you're looking for something on the lower priced side AND a good straightener, definitely go for conair. but if price isn't really a problem, i HIGHLY recommend a chi.
Go for a rebond, your hair will be permanently straight up to the bottom. Ask your hair salon for details.
