Anybody out there with hair straighteners....! Help please :)?

Does anybody know of any hair striaghteners which run off 230v? All the ones in my house are 240 or 250v, and this is too high for the power supply I have when I go camping.

(to check- look on the inside of the plug, the flat bit where there are some numbers on the plastic. It should say the voltage somewher, most probably 250v. Does anybody know of any hair straighteners (preferably cheaper ones) that run off 230v or less??

thanks so much, pleae check your plugs!Anybody out there with hair straighteners....! Help please :)?
Try Googling 'voltage converter'. You'll probably find some sort of adaptor plug you can buy that will do the trick and it will probably cost less than buying new straighteners.

Worth a try anyway :)Anybody out there with hair straighteners....! Help please :)?

i have a remington wet to dry straightener it's kinda pricy but it totally works i got it at sally's for like 30 bucks
I have one and its a conair. It's probably the best low power supply i've seen. It's an energy saver also. I got it at sally and its really just $9.99. Great Price Great Value
Not really sure. But you can call any local beauty supply store to find out! They're probably in the phone book. They would know for sure.
not that i know of but there might be one of those!
