Does anyone know how to reverse hair straightener damage?

Pretty self-explanitory, anyone know what to do once your hair is damaged by hairstraightener, and how to reverse it (besides the most obvious - give it time dont straighten it for a while)Does anyone know how to reverse hair straightener damage?
You should try the new Pantene Pro V collection ';restoratives';. It supposedly undoes up to 2 years of damage. Other than that I would say treat it with hot oil and do weekly deep-conditioning treatments.Does anyone know how to reverse hair straightener damage?
just deep condition and use a heat protector when you do straighten it, a good drugstore brand is vo5 miracle mist and a salon brand would be chi iron guard. also if you don`t have a ceramic straightner i`d look into getting one of those. if your straightening your hair everyday i can see how it would be damaging but if its just once or twice a week it shouldn`t be damaging it that much. good luck!
Treat it on a regular basis and give it a good deep conditioner every month
You can't reverse it.

ONce the hair is dead, it's dead. Or once you have split ends, it will continue splitting unless you cut it.

So here are your options

- Cut your hair

- Stop straightening and use conditionners to make it LOOK healthy, (but it will just coat your hair and not actually treat it)

-Ignore it
