Hair Straighteners?

i am planing on getting a haircut soon, so i figured i might as well buy a hair straightener. I have never had one before, so your help would be much appreciated. My hair is thick with random akward waves. So, i was wondering what is the best hair straightener i could buy at TARGET? (preferably less than 50 bucks).

well there is this really awesome one that i saw at target. my friend has it and it does a great job. its also really cute and i think it comes in blue and purple. they have a skinny one and a big one but get the SKINNY one cause they are so much easier. i yeh and its called a bedhead and its around $70, but youll luv it. i do NOT recommend chi's they are too expensive and burn your hair becuase they dont have a temp. gage.

advice since this is your first striaghtner. since it isnt a professional striaghtener when you straighten it dont go over it twice when its hot because it will be twice the damage to your hair. so when you straighten it then wait till your hair is cooled off and then you can go over it again (:

one time i bought the most amazing straightener at target it was conair, but i can't remember the exact name. it was wide and the outside was white..and the plates were gold. and it was like 20 dollars. it was GREAT!
Remington wet 2 straight! it costs $30 and i've been using the same one for 2 yrs. My sister uses mine as well and it hasn't broken. I don't care how many people say sedu and chi, remington wet 2 straight does the job perfectly at 1/3 the price.
maxiglide is AMAZING.. i just don't know how to turn it on!!! anyone reading this please answer my question!!!!!!!!
