I use the Remington Wet to Straight straightner and I think it is wonderful. It has different heat settings for how thin or thick your hair is, and how wet or dry it is. I got it for like $27 at Walmart.

Conair is the best brand for expensive, but once you start straighting your more you will want to invest in a more expensive one.
Inexpensive straighteners wont be good. They will damage your hair more. Its ok to invest in a good quality straightner.
