Help choosing hair straighteners!?

Help..

Ive been using the same hair straighteners for the past two years and they are no longer working for my hair and just making it greasy.

ive decided to invest in a new pair, but GHDs are so expensive. I dont want a cheap pair but i cant really afford more than 拢40.

Ive heard about Me2 straighteners, no idea if they are any good.

Ive got really thick hair and It would be nice to curl it properly at some point, especially with xmas parties coming up.

Can anyone offer any advice on the best straighteners out there and where to find them...

Thanks in advance!!!!!!Help choosing hair straighteners!?
a 'CHI' straightener.. pretty much any good beauty/hair store.. they are costly but worth it :)Help choosing hair straighteners!?
in a professional salon would be your best bet it may be exspensive but the results will be worth it believe me i'm a licenced cosmetologist and you should take care of your hair it makes you who you are..... good luck..... hope this helped
GHDs are good but way overpriced.

many people will recomend chi, but they have no heat control and are damaging. break easily too.

i would get a sedu. #1 straightener rated out there.

1 inch is $100 and 1 and a half inch is $120

has thousands of reviews! check out be4 and after pics
From the research that I've done recently, FHI and CHI are some of the best... not sure what it would equate to in Euros but you can get either on Ebay for less than $70 USD
