What kinds of hair straighteners do you recommend?

Some of you say ironing is bad, permanent straightening is worse and you say you use hair straightener instead. What kinds? Please elaborate.

Thanks a ton! What kinds of hair straighteners do you recommend?
The absolute 100% best way to straighten your hair without a straightening iron is using CHI silk infusion.

use a ceramic round brush while blow drying. The ceramic heats up and it smooths everything out.

try using sunsilk -';straighten up'; if that doesnt work try getting a conair brush straightner u comb it through your hair and it straightens like a straightner

Roller set, curlers, blow dryer

So friend I guess it helps you,. Have a great day. What kinds of hair straighteners do you recommend?
GHD (good hair day), there really good.
only this:like slippers says NEVER VIDAL SASSON!!!!!!
I, personally, use the Conair kind. Not JUST the regular brand, I think there's a specific line of 'em now...Yes, I just checked. It's the 'Infiniti' collection. Anyway... It's a wet-to-straight build, but I wouldn't recommend using it when your hair is wet because it could damage your hair. It works wonders with my hair, when most irons would fail.

...On that note, NEVER buy the Vidal Sassoon ones. I bought one of those before my Conair Infiniti and it was THE crappiest piece of hair technology. The Infiniti iron has many heat settings too, so even if you have poofy hair like mine, it'll do the job.

:) Hope that helped!
I got mine at Walmart.

Its AMAZING.

Its called, Andis Multi Heat Ceramic.
GHD!!! they are the best!!! believe me!
hey,u r asking d question on d wrong site.

well u ask this question on make up side
Oh mean, this is so gay that i know this but... CHI is a damn good one. It's very well built, heats evenly, and get hot enough to do the job quickly. But they're around $100. You can get a decent one from other companies for $40. The cheaper ones are built poorly and heat up weirdly. Expect them to fail after a little while.
i recommend LOOK! its really amazing,....my frend and i bought and it is really good...altho it is a bit expensive ($160) it really works..my frend has the most curliest hair i hve ever seen and wen she uses it its so straight..u can use it on wet and dry hair...u can purchase it at a salon..it has ceramic plates...anything straightner that u buy from the salon will work amazingly!
