Need advice with hair straighteners?!?

Ok so i really wanted to get a GHD hair straightener but can't afford it. I have REALLY thick, curly, frizzy, uncontrolable hair so i need a really good straightener is there HONESTLY one as good as a GHD but for about $130 (AUSTRALIAN DOLLERS) It must be for sale in a shop like TARGET or BIG W.

NOT online as i'm 13

If there's not one thats as good as a GHD please just say that there isn't!

The hair straightener must have tempture control and prefrably go up to 400 degrees also would be really great if they sell it in 1 and 1/2 inch sizes as i have long/thick/curly hair lol

Please help, any advice will do!Need advice with hair straighteners?!?
from personal experience i would say save and invest in ghd. mine have lasted 4 years and straighten my super thick curly hair where no others would. and belive me i have bought many straightners before!!Need advice with hair straighteners?!?
You sound like you have hair like mine lol. I wanted a GHD desperately too but my mum got me a Manhattan Silver Bullet. It has a temperature control going up to 210 degress and its pink! I usuall get a good straightening from it, but i always blow dry it first cause it makes it heaps more shiny, soft, and straighter. They sell them in the Shaver Shop, Hairhouse Warehouse etc (I live in aussie too) If you can though, get a GHD, cause i've never come across one that does such a great job for my hair. My Silver Bullet comes a very close second though %26lt;3
I have really curly hair and have had trouble with alot of straighteners. I bought a CHI ceramic plate straightener and I have been able to get my hair REALLY straight. Now, the CHI is not cheap...but it is well worth the price if you ask me. Remember to use good styling products as well because that is the key to keeping your hair not only nice and straight, but also healthy. I recommend Biosilk products or Matrix Sleek Look Products for straight hair days, Matrix Curl Life products for curly hair days. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
The ceramic technology that makes the GHD so good is now widely used in a lot of brands. A few years ago GHD was the ultimate, one of a kind hair straightener, but this isnt true anymore. They just make heaps of money off their reputation. Revlon make an awesome ceramic hair straightener, for under $50. You can buy that at Target. As a fellow long/thick/curly haired person, I wish you good luck !! :)
i know the fashion is straight hair.i guess where u live it is humid.so do not fight your hair.you wll only fry it and it will always go back to curly.specially doing it at your age.find a good hair stylist to get a good hairct for your type of hair.good luck.anyways at your age everybody looks so cute!
target sell the chi hair straighteners ! those are very good hair straighteners !
Chi straighteners are really good
OK so i dont live in austrialia but i had a one point in time bought a straightner for 150 (american dollars) and loved it and then a few years ago it died and a friend lent me hers, and i loved it.. i have VERY thick hair and even though now its short, i still use it and it worked GREAT when i had long hair..its by remington and its called wet2straight you can also use it on wet hair, but i dont b/c i dont like the way it feels. It was about 40 , and has 25 temp settings, and i only use up to 15 bc it works.. i bought mine at target.. and they start at a half inch up to 2 1/2 inches

Sorry but i cant relate this to GHD i have never heard of this product name. but i hope this helps anyway..
Maybe you can try CHI?And also ConAir. ConAir is a really good one. Some of my friends use them. They make your hair really straight and under control. And its non frizzy at all!! Chi is a more expensive straightener but it is also good, like GHD. Other than these two that are in a more affordable price, try asking your stylist at the salon because they might have some really really good ones.(i got mine from the hair salon) but of course, you have to buy it from them ahha. They give some reasonal price and the one i got is from France, no made in china thing!(not against it, but have had some bad experience with them). It works really wear and my hair gets smooth and straight after using it.

If you have any other questoins, feel free to email me! :]

good luck!
